Future Fuel secures a total of £60,200 worth of OZEV funding on behalf of their clients.

This year has already been incredible for Future Fuel: The Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS) went live in May allowing for two OZEV-funded projects to be awarded within the week. The division also launched its new consultancy service in early 2022 and by July had won Partner of the Year at the ACE Awards.

As knowledge leaders, they are a conduit for news and updates, always readily available to share their expansive knowledge on EV charging. As of 2022, Future Fuel has made more than 40 presentations at live events – and given more than 100 online to passionate property managers explaining the benefits of preparing blocks for EV uptake.

This uptake is very important to not only our sector but the world we now live in. The Road to Zero strategy is aiming for at least half of new cars and 40% of vans to be ultra-low emissions by 2030, and car buyers will all have to go electric by 2035. This is a hint at where the leasehold sector is heading, and Future Group responded in record time, launching Future Fuel in 2019 and henceforth training staff to cope with future demand.

Now, 3 years later, Future Fuel has successfully secured a total of £60,200 worth of OZEV funding on behalf of their clients this summer alone. Despite a large sum, it spans only five sites from the Royal Docks in London all the way down to Brighton & Hove and a total of 119 bays. “All buildings and all leases are different, so a one-size-fits-all solution is not viable,” Jamie explains, “By using our consultancy service, property managers can be confident that we will source the best possible solution for their block or portfolio. […] As OZEV-approved installers, we are happy to secure the funding on our client’s behalf as well as handle the installation from start to finish- to our exacting standards.”

This funding will help with the lion’s share of leaseholders’ installation costs and is expected to drive up interest in EVs even further. Now more than ever leaseholders are recognising the benefits of electric vehicles and with Future Fuel Solutions, they are in the best of hands.

The time is now to take advantage of this new funding. Future Group are already ready for whatever the future brings; through Future Fuel Solutions, they are sharing knowledge, reviewing projects, and providing independent advice on charge point installations and payment solutions.
