Future Group is proud to announce the launch of its newest specialist division: Future Smoke Control Solutions, a dedicated department providing a complete, in-house service offering across Smoke Control, Environmental Air Management, Automatic Opening Vents (AOVs), Dampers, and both Smoke and Car Park Extraction Systems.
This expansion marks a significant milestone in the Group’s continued growth, strengthening its reputation for delivering fully integrated building safety and compliance services.
With increasing demand in the property and facilities management sectors for reliable, compliant, and technically robust smoke control maintenance, Future Group has invested heavily in creating a division that manages every aspect of the service internally. By using directly employed engineers, the business maintains complete control over standards, training, accountability, and response times—ensuring clients receive consistent quality across all sites and sectors.
Luke Clark, who joined the business in the summer, has played a pivotal role in shaping the new department. Working behind the scenes, Luke has prepared the operational structure, compliance procedures, and engineer development necessary to launch at scale. The result has been exceptional—the department has taken off rapidly, with strong interest from existing and new clients.
Jamie Willsdon, Director of Future Group, commented:
“This launch is a real moment for us. The demand for specialist smoke control services has grown massively, and bringing this fully in-house gives us complete control over the quality, speed, and reliability we can offer. Luke has done a fantastic job preparing for this, and 2026 will be an incredibly exciting year as we continue to grow the team.”
Future Smoke Control Solutions will integrate seamlessly with the Group’s existing Fire, Lighting, Security, Decarbonise, and EV divisions—creating a more cohesive compliance offering for property managers, housing associations, developers, and commercial clients.
With strong early momentum and continued investment in training and development, Future Group is positioning the department as a market leader in this fast-growing, safety-critical sector.
