Project Overview
In collaboration with the management company, we designed and installed a future-proofed Hybrid EV charging solution, covering all private demised parking bays within the underground car park. Bézier Apartments holds a special connection with Future Group, as over eight years ago, we installed a state-of-the-art efficient lighting system throughout the development, which continues to operate effectively today. An initial energy assessment and subsequent metering analysis confirmed that the site’s existing electrical supply could support the new charging stations. To facilitate the installation, we implemented a distribution network board to feed the entire solution and provide a central point of isolation for emergency and maintenance purposes.
To prevent overloads and enhance efficiency, the system features smart load-balancing technology, ensuring an even distribution of electrical load across all active charging stations.
Installation Details
Considering the open design of the car park, careful planning was undertaken to maintain its aesthetics while ensuring practical cable routing. The charging stations were securely mounted to structural columns and retaining walls, positioned strategically to avoid potential vehicle strikes and allow for simple, convenient connections for users.
The entire system is now fully operational and seamlessly integrated with the Future-Tap billing platform, providing residents with an easy, efficient way to access and manage their EV charging needs.
