Future Fuel Solutions secured £30,000 of OZEV infrastructure funding before delivering a 37-bay, Active-Smart Billing Solution at delightful residential development, The Hale.

 

About: The Hale – Anthology 

Anthology Hale Works is the final piece of the puzzle in the greater regeneration scheme, Hale Village; an eco-district with a strong focus on community and sustainability. This urban village has won multiple awards including the Green Flag Award for its dedication to green spaces on the grounds. 

But it’s not only the greenery and distinctive architecture that make this new neighbourhood attractive. Hale Village offers a mixture of student accommodation, private and affordable homes and a range of non-residential uses including a gym, supermarket, and a nursery.

Client Brief

Our client wanted to take full advantage of our turnkey, end-to-end service and got in touch with us promptly to discuss their next steps…

Funding

Once we had. Afull understanding of our client’s needs, we then applied for and secured £30,000 worth of OZEV infrastructure funding on their behalf. This funding covered the lion’s share of the costs associated with getting this facility equipped with a smart-billing, EVC solution.

The Future Fuel Solution

Future Fuel installed a full, active infrastructure that included 7-22kW Smart Connected Easee Charger units. These chargers are installed in each of the 37 private resident-demised bays and only allow access to the leaseholder of each bay. 

Each owner has a unique login and account as well as auto-pay functionality (using Apple or Google Pay) for any usage. These funds are repaid to the service charge, covering any electricity usage. A hassle and concern-free solution that any Property Manager would welcome to assist their already hectic schedules.

Future Fuel has always advocated for smart charging; seeing the benefits for residents charging their vehicles in their demised bays including lower energy consumption and therefore lower overall costs.

Conclusion

Future Fuel oversaw a quick turnaround of just 8 days to install all 37 points. The project ran smoothly and according to plan. We will return for ongoing maintenance. 

The Hale is now futureproofed for EV uptake and residents can just scan a QR code, download our billing application and have immediate access to a safe, secure and fast charging facility in the convenience of their bay.

That’s why we included our annual maintenance and compliance package: 2 visits a year, 24/7/365 support, 48-hour on-site response and compliance certification is all included.
